Machine tool spindle bearing and ball screw bearing as precision control parts of machine tool, the proportion of P4 and its above super precision bearing and paired bearing will rise greatly, and the proportion will be increased from 20% in 2002 to about 40%~50% in 2005, and the total amount will be about 700 thousand sets.

 

At present, about half of the demand for about 150 thousand sets of P4 and above super precision angular contact ball bearings in machine tool industry comes from famous foreign bearing companies such as FAG, NSK, SKF, SNFA and so on. In addition to psychological factors and brand effects, the technical performance and reliability of bearings are the main reasons for machine tool customers to choose imported bearings. If the technical specifications and reliability level of the domestic ultra precision bearings can be comparable to that of the imported bearings, the market potential for the next two years will be enormous.

 

To this end, the main machine tool bearing supporting enterprises in China have begun to accelerate the pace of technological transformation, increase investment in processing conditions, testing means, matching technology and reliability research.
